Used Koga World Traveller - £899
Orginal Koga brochure picture of the World Traveller we currently have for sale. Pictures of the actual bike, follow after the description below.
A rare opportunity to purchase a used Koga World Traveller29. We sold this amazing bike to a customer in 2016 and they have now part-exchanged it against a new ebike.
This bike have been well used, taking its owner on some wonderful cycling tours around Britain with many happy cycle camping trips in lovely Scotland. As the owner was local to our shop, we have maintained and regularly serviced this bike at the Dutch Bike Shop.
This bike was built by Koga at the latter part of 2015. But wasn’t sold by us until early 2016. Hence, although it’s a 2015 model, it wasn’t ridden/owned until 2016. As with all Koga bicycles, one engineer assembled the bike. You get the engineers name with the build certificate that comes with the bike.
Key Features in brief: alloy frame, 30 speed – Shimano SLX 10 speed casette, hydraulic brakes, front and rear dynamo lights, front and rear Tubus touring pannier racks, front and rear stands, front suspension, anti-puncture protection tyres, front and rear mudguards.
Frame Sizes: 46cm/2015. Both are crossbar models.
Condition: Used, but with many years left but expect some scratches and marks as you would expect with a bike of this age that has been toured and had panniers attached to the racks.
This bike rides beautifully. If you have never ridden a Koga World Traveller, then do some research online and you’ll see what these bikes are capable of.
We have enjoyed test riding it at the Dutch bike shop and if you’re looking for a super comfortable bike that’s ideal for leisure/commuting, as it is for touring, this bike is worth considering. In 2008, Scottish rider, Mark Beaumont set a new round the world record riding a Koga World Traveller and has since ridden Kogas on a variety of gruelling long distance rides.
Price: £899 or nearest offer
Viewing and Test Rides: You’re welcome to come and see the bike in the flesh. We recommend you phone in advance and make an appointment to ensure the bike is still available.
If you like it when you see it, you’re welcome to test ride. Serious would-be purchasers enjoy a test ride.
