The Batavus Bub -single speed, coaster braked bike which is fun to ride, eye-catching to look at, has extra wide tyres to take the strain out of riding on paths and roads, the Bub is fun, sexy and extremely light at only 14kgs. Built with a lightweight, over-sized alloy frame, the design of which, is based on a paperclip, sweep back handlebars, alloy rims, comfy saddle and extra comfy grips, this bike really is different.

A little bit about Bub!

Bub was designed as a concept Dutch bicycle by Batavus - it's a fun bicycle that gives a superb comfortable ride. Everyone that has ridden this bike during our UK Trials, prior to production, have remarked on how comfortable it is. Designed around an office doddle featuring a paperclip....Bub's frame evolved from a design to production and so far has won the attention of the media in the Netherlands and US and the hearts of those who've bought a Bub.
